Maria Madalena Maria
Executive Director Madalena worked for more than 30 years in quality control, quality assurance and regulatory affairs for medicines and health products, quality control, quality assurance and regulatory affairs.
She has been responsible for quality control at the Portuguese Military Laboratory and later for the implementation of physic and chemical testing and for the quality system at the National Control Laboratory of INFARMED. At INFARMED she was also Head of the Department of Human Medicines. She joined the pharmaceutical industry becoming the Qualified Person and Head of Quality Assurance for IBERFAR Indústria Farmacêutica S.A.
She carried out scientific works and she also taught Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Lusófona University (Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias). She contributed for the preparation of the Manual of Good Pharmacovigilance Practice at the Portuguese Pharmaceutical Society (Ordem dos Farmacêuticos).
Madalena has a Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon (Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade de Lisboa) and a Master of Sciences in Advanced Pharmaceutical Technology by the same University. She is Specialist in Pharmaceutical Industry at the Portuguese Pharmaceutical Society (Ordem dos Farmacêuticos). Member of the National Council for Cooperation at the Portuguese Pharmaceutical Society (Ordem dos Farmacêuticos). She was honoured with a Commendation for the scientific work carried out in the Military Laboratory.

Ana Gusmão
Operational Officer Ana has 30 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, in clinical trials coordination, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, training of sales representatives and sales teams and negotiation for new drugs in hospitals.
She was Deputy for the Manufacturing Director in Laboratório JABA; head of the Clinical Pharmacology and Regulatory Affairs Department at Franco Farmacêutica Laboratory; Head of the Department for ”Affaires Pharmaceutiques Générales” and for the Corporate Communication at Sanofi Group in Portugal, later Sanofi Winthrop. Legal representative of Laboratorios del Dr. Esteve in Portugal for 20 years, acting as Country Manager, Technical Director and Manager for Market Access.
Ana has a Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon (Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade de Lisboa). She has a Postgraduate degree in Business Directorate (PADE) promoted by IESE/AESE (Associação de Estudos Superiores de Empresa) in collaboration with Navarra University. She is Representative of Portugal in OFIL – Organization of the Pharmacists Iberian-Latin Americans.

Fátima Antunes
Regulatory Affairs Officer Fátima has over 30 years in medicines and healthcare products, developing, implementing and coordinating strategies for registration and regulatory compliance. She worked in galenic development and pilot testing of pharmaceutical and dermocosmetic formulations and dietary foods.
She was responsible for the approval of promotional materials at Sanofi Aventis, in close collaboration with other Departments, to plane and coordinate new products launch. She was Technical Director of Irex, Lda. (a Sanofi generics company), of Ratiopharm, Lda. and of Biofranco – Indústria Farmacêutica Lda.
She trained Pharmaceutical and Galenic Technique in training programs for the Ministry of Employment and Social Security, sponsored by the European Social Fund. She contributed for the preparation of the Manual of Good Pharmacovigilance Practice at the Portuguese Pharmaceutical Society (Ordem dos Farmacêuticos).
Fátima has a Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon (Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade de Lisboa). She holds a Postgraduate degree in Cosmetic Dermatology from the Lusófona University (Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias).
